OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT IN REGARDS TO OUR PRODUCTIONS IN 2020.
It is with deep regret we must confirm that our production of Hairspray at Carriageworks, Leeds has been abandoned. This has been a heart breaking decision that had to be made in the interests of public safety in light of Government advice and guidelines due to the current COVID19 situation. Those customers with tickets will be contacted in due course by Carriageworks Theatre for a refund so please do not call the box office in this understandably busy time.
We must also announce that our production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert at Theatre Royal Wakefield will be postponed until 2021. We are grateful of the support of the theatre and the rights holders who have made this possible. Ticket holders will be contacted by the theatre to confirm the new dates.
We have also made a decision to postpone and reschedule our planned Yorkshire tour of Rita, Sue and Bob Too to next year. We believe this is the right thing to do for the safety and well being of our cast, crew and audiences; we very much look forward to welcoming everyone to see this hilarious show in October 2021. We are grateful of the support of the venues for enabling the changes to be made. Ticket holders will be contacted to inform them of their new dates.
We are extremely gratefully to all our audiences who have continued to support us over the years – we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you. As was recently written on Whats On Stage “The magic of theatre lies in its live performances and is not something that can be experienced in the same way remotely. It’s ability to lift people and entertain people, even in times of difficulty is unparalleled.” With this in mind we very much hope to welcome you to our shows in the not so distant future.
Kind regards
