It is with deep sadness and disappointment that we must announce that our planned Spring 2022 production of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert is cancelled. This is due to a multitude of factors caused by the twice rescheduling of this show due to Covid19, in relation to the availability of rights, set and costumes for the production, which we were unable to resolve in order for the production to go ahead as planned. We are sure customers will be disappointed, as we are, that we are unable to present Priscilla at this time and we are grateful of your understanding in these unprecedented times.
We are delighted however to confirm that we will now be presenting a new production of the acclaimed award-winning smash hit musical Legally Blonde: The Musical in its place. We very much hope that ticket holders for Priscilla will retain their tickets for this production instead. Theatre Royal Wakefield will contact all existing customers in due course and we thank you for your patience whilst the theatre administer this.
As always we are grateful of your understanding and support; we look forward to welcoming you to the theatre next year.
